Belpasso is a tiny medieval village located in the Province of Catania.
The first village of Belpasso was founded in 1305 and named Malpasso. Later in 1456, Don Guglielmo Raimondo Moncada Count of Adernò, bought the feudal town and ruled it with his son Francesco until the end of the 16th century building the old town centre. The most important monuments of the village are the Fenice Theatre; the Mother Church and the Santuario Madonna della Rocca which is considered as an important place of worship where it is possible to visit two ancient natural caves.

Get on A18/E45 to Superstrada Paternò – Catania/SS121 in Misterbianco. Take exit Misterbianco from A18/E45. Continue on Superstrada Paternò – Catania/SS121. Take Strada Provinciale 14/SP14 to Via XIX Traversa/SP4/11 in Belpasso.
