Blufi

Province of Palermo

Blufi is a little village rich in beautiful monuments and ancient traditions. 

The first settlement of Blufi was established in the 16th century, but it was included in the town of Petralia Soprana until the 20th century. The most important cultural attractions of the village are: the Romanesque bridge characterised by three well preserved arches; the Mother Church of Cristo Re built in the 20th century; the Santuario della Madonna dell’Olio built in the 8th century. The Rocca di Marabuto is an ancient well preserved Arab tomb.

Sagra del Finocchietto Selvatico, food festival

The festa dei “tre patroni”, the village celebrates its three Patron Saints: Maria SS. Annunziata, San Giuseppe e il SS. Crocifisso.
