Cerda is a charming ancient village which includes the wonderful Granza Forest and the Bomes lake.
The charming village of Cerda was founded in 1526 by the noble Salvatore Bardi. Later the village was acquired by Giuseppe Santostefano, the marquess of Cerda who improved the economy of the feudal town building workshops and cultivating the surrounding area. The Palazzo Russo is an ancient building including fascinating frescos made by the Sicilian painters Cavallaro and Brusca in 1892.
