Province of Messina

Fiumedinisi is an ancient village located in the province of Messina which includes the wonderful Fiumedinisi and Mount Scuderi Nature Reserve.

The village of Fiumedinisi has ancient origins dating back to the Greek period. The current old town centre was founded in 1320 when the feudal town was acquired by Roger di Vallone. The most important monuments of the village are the Mother Church of Maria SS.Annunziata built in the 12th century; the Church of San Pietro, erected in the 12th century; the Church of Beata Vergine del Carmine, built in 1769.

This charming ancient village is part of the wonderful Fiumedinisi and Mount Scuderi Nature Reserve.
