Fondachelli Fantina, historically named Canneto, is a tiny medieval which was included in the jurisdiction of Novara di Sicilia until 1950. The most important cultural attractions of the village are the Church of SS Angeli Custodi; the Mother Church of San Giuseppe which includes precious works of art.
Nearby the village there is the wonderful Rocca Salvatesta, a green area which is included in the Peloritani mountains.
