The foundation of Furci Siculo is dating back to the Middle Ages, when it was part of the feudal town of Savoca. The history of this small town is connected to the neighbouring municipalities which became autonomous in the Risorgimento. The village gained its administrative independence in the early twentieth century. The village has a beautiful Mother Church SS.ma del Rosario built in 1928 and an interesting Sea Museum where visitors can discover the ancient fishing traditions of this tiny village.
