Mojo Alcantara is a charming village located in the province of Messina close to the Alcantara valley.
The village of Mojo Alcantara was founded in 1602 by Palmerio Lanza who ruled the feudal town with his descendants for long time. Later in 1928, Mojo Alcantara was included in the village of Malvagna creating the village of Lanza. In 1947 the village achieved its autonomy.
