Restaurant-Pizzeria Lo Strascino was founded in 1974 by Don Peppino, that expert in catering and lover of Sicilian traditions, he created a typical Sicilian restaurant. The cuisine of Strascino serves traditional meals, thanks to the choice of strictly fresh food and quality, always preserving the flavours. Entering Lo Strascino is to take a dip in the past; reliving an atmosphere where the Sicilian cart, the “Strascino” (typical 4-wheel transport cart) is travelling along the narrow streets of a Palermo neighborhood.
The place is a veritable museum of Sicily, to relive the atmosphere of the narrow streets of the Capital (the famous market of Palermo), populated by typical carts and the figure of the street vendor, all of which can savour the delights, simple and rich in suggestions of a unique cuisine to the world.
