Tenuta Lanza “Il Mulino”

Caltanissetta/Acquaviva Platani

The farmhouse “Il Mulino” (The Mill), immersed in a picturesque citrus grove, has naturally evolved through our passion for agriculture, which has been handed down from father to son for over 100 years. Throughout this period our focus has always been to achieve quality and authentic produce whilst preserving the traditions and environment of The Estate.

The Lanza Estate is located within an area of outstanding natural beauty, at the foot of Mount Cammarata and surrounded by the clear waters of The River Platani (where the words of Quasimodo “roll shells”). This charming setting welcomes those seeking to experience the true nature of Siciliy throughout the various seasons of the year.

Available to guests all the comforts and amenities to spend a relaxing and carefree vacation in the outdoors: swimming pool with whirlpool and waterfalls, free wi-fi in the rooms and throughout the area the pool, possibility for guests to use the barbecue for great grill in the company of friends and family, room for the disabled, free parking and reading room.

The Lanza Estate welcomes our guests with elegant rooms fully equipped with every comfort that you may need. The combination of rustic and modern styles creates a relaxing and natural environment which is unique in its kind. The sun-kissed rooms are a delight to the senses, overlooking the citrus grove and the bends of the River Platani and surrounded by the scent of orange blossom.

A certain area of the The Lanza Estate is reserved for the campsite. This area extends the shadow of the remains of a wall which once formed part of the oldest water mill in the region of which it is still possible to observe most of the original aqueduct system.

The area is equipped with all of the usual comforts a camper may need including running water, showers, drainage, heating and spot lights. For entertainment there is a bowling green, swimming pool, designated barbecue area and suitable fishing locations along the beautiful floral banks of The River Platani.
