The 4-star Resort I Mulini is the renovation of one of the oldest salt mines in Italy – the eighteenth-century “House Salinara”, which maintains the charm of the historical and cultural site.
Today it consists of 24 double rooms, including 10 Deluxe, 10 Superior, 3 Suites and 1 Junior Suite with direct access to the private beach, equipped with parasols and deck chairs. The luxury finishes and comforts, make The Resort I Mulini particularly suited to the most demanding customers.
It is the ideal holiday location for relaxing as it is immersed in a meadow of the Mediterranean, across from the Egadi Islands and at the foot of the ancient medieval village of Erice. It is possible to enjoy some sport activities at the nearby Baia dei Mulini Hotel.
The Resort is also home to the Museum of Salina, with the original stone wheel – fully functional – and the tools and gears that made the large blades of the windmill that give the name to the Resort – the spectacular and evocative “antinni”.
