Province of Palermo

The Bagni di Cefalà Diana e Chiarastella Nature Reserve  is a stunning green area established in 1997.

The Bagni di Cefalà Diana e Chiarastella Nature Reserve, placed between the Cefalà Diana and Villafrati villages, is a stunning green area established in 1997 to protect a series of hot springs coming from the foot of the Mount Pizzo Chiarastella. The most important attraction of the reserve is the thermal baths of Cefalà Diana which represents the only well preserved example of Arabic spa along the Island.

The Bagni di Cefalà Diana e Chiarastella Nature Reserve provides a suggestive experience for visitors thanks to its warm and cold water tubs placed in a charming building decorated with arabesque windows and islamic mosaics. Framed by palms, agave and broom the spa has two areas where it is possible to find basins for washing, walkways and niches to hold clothes and linens.

The reserve is open all days from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and on Saturday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. The admission is free the first Sunday of every months.
