The Carro di Scicli has a wonderful wild and natural beach with a clear turquoise sea.
The Carro di Scicli is an impressive stretch of coast located before the wonderful Borgata di Sampieri. Its 20 km of beach are totally wild and natural, where a clear turquoise sea gently washes the sand. Along this coast there is a small forest of Mediterranean vegetation, notably agaves and palms that extend for 4km. The area is known as the place of choice for sea turtles when laying their eggs. Even though the beach doesn’t offer car parking facilities near the bay and it has difficult access, it is definitely a fascinating and charming place to visit.
