Corso Umberto I is the main streets of Caltanissetta. Almost 1km long going from North to South, this street divides the historic center of the city vertically. With Corso Vittorio Emanuale main street cutting it in the middle, it cuts the city in quarters defining the perimeter of the 4 neighbourhoods. The street starts in Piazza Luigi Capua and along the way, walking south, you will stumble along beautiful palaces, such as the Giordano’s or the Bordonaro’s, as well as churches like the St. Agatha church or St. Lucia.
