Lipari Beaches ⚑

Aeolian Archipelago

Lipari is part of the charming volcanic archipelago of Aeolian Island and it is considered the largest and most crowded island in summer, and was awarded the Blue Flag in 2014. Tourists get to the island from the mainland by ferry and hydrofoil from Milazzo and Messina. A working port greets visitors, driving them in an animated and picturesque atmosphere.  Above all, Lipari is known for its typical Mediterranean landscape of windswept highlights, wild vegetation and dreamy pristine blue waters.
This island has seven wonderful beaches; in particular Spiaggia Bianca (the White Beach) is extremely charming and attractive. There the seabed takes on a stunning white colour due to the presence of pumice stones. Moreover Spiaggia Valle Muria provides an astonishing view of the Faraglioni of Pietra Lunga and Pietra Menalda rather then Praia di Vinci is a hidden beach reachable only by boat that it is suitable for diving and snorkelling lovers.
In order to discover this amazing island it is recommended you explore the old town centre with its castle, Greek tombs and the Cathedral known for its Norman cloister.
