The Pepoli Museum is a municipal collection hosted by Count Agostino Pepoli who wanted to create a museum to celebrate the beautiful treasures of Trapani. It is located in the charming Complex of Annunziata, a Carmelite abbey close to the Basilica di Maria Santissima Annunziata. This remarkable museum displays the private collection of Count Pepoli and lots of artworks and artefacts that well represent the history and tradition of Trapani.
Moreover the museum preserves important paintings and sculptures of modern art, along with the famous and unique Nativity cribs made of coral, gold, silver and precious stones, created for Royalty.
