The Pizzo Cane, Pizzo Trigna and Grotta Mazzamuto Nature Reserve  is well know for its astonishing landscape and thanks to its highest mountains.

The Pizzo Cane, Pizzo Trigna and Grotta Mazzamuto Nature Reserve, 4.500 m large, covers a vast area stretching to the Tyrrhenian sea. This amazing reserve is well know for its astonishing landscape and thanks to its highest mountains, Mount San Calogero and Pizzo Trigna, it is possible to enjoy a picturesque and lovely view of the coastline. This green area includes a vivid vegetation made of big oak trees, shrubs and the wildlife counts lots of rare spaces such as hedgehogs, porcupines, wild cats and weasels. Moreover the Pizzo Cane, Pizzo Trigna and Grotta Mazzamuto Nature Reserve also has three stunning caves: Grotta Mazzamuto, Grotta Brigli and Grotta Leone which host traces of prehistoric settlements.

How to get there:

From Palermo take the Motorway A19, exit Casteldaccia. Then follow the Strada Provinciale 16 to Ventimiglia di Sicilia.
