Siculiana is a tiny village located in the province of Agrigento.
Siculiana has ancient origins dating back to the 10th century BC, it was founded by Arabs who named the village “Suq-al-Jani”. The most important monuments of the village are the Santuario del Santissimo Crocifisso, built in the 16th century by Padri Carmelitani with a precious Baroque style; the Clock Tower, built in 1887; the Chiaramonte Castle built in 14th century by Federico Chiaramonte to dominate the area.
