Capri Leone has a wonderful panoramas where it is possible to discover three of the beautiful Aeolian Islands: Salina, Alicudi and Filicudi.
Capri Leone is part of the Nebrodi park and the ancient village is located 400 metres above the sea offering a wonderful panoramas where it is possible to discover three of the Aeolian Islands: Salina, Alicudi and Filicudi. The most important monuments of the village are the Church of San Costantino, built in the 17th century, includes a wonderful floor made with precious Sicilian ceramics tiles and the Church of SS Annunziata, found by Pirroccio, a noble from Capri, contains important works of art such as the majestic statue of Beata Vergine Annunziata made by the Sicilian sculptor Antonello Gagini.
Visiting the old town centre, you can admire the beautiful tiny square, Piazza dei Leoni, which is famous for its fountain made with two impressive lions dating back to the 15th century and other ancient fountains such as the U Canaleddu, Paiaria and Crapi ones. The downtown centre also includes the beautiful Urbino “Peppino Grasso” Park, Rocca di Carpi Leone, created in 2010.

Get on A18 Catania – Messina and then continue on A20 Messina – Palermo, exit Rocca di Capri Leone.

Get on SS Adrano-Bronte, continue to Cesarò and then take SS289 to San Fratello. Take A20 Messina-Palermo, exit Rocca di Capri Leone
By Train:
From Palermo Central Station get trains to S. Agata Militello, and from Messina Central Station get the trains to Capo d’Orlando.
From S. Agata Militello and from Capo d’Orlando get the Regional trains to Zappulla which is the nearest station to the village.
By Plane:
the nearest airports are Fontanarossa international Airport of Catania and
