Santa Cristina Gela is wonderful tiny village which was founded in the 17th century. 

The feudal town of Santa Cristina was founded by the Albanian in 1691. It was later named Santa Cristina Gela in 1747 by Domenico Naselli, the Duke of Gela who ruled the feudal town, and introduced massive cereal and wheat cultivations. The most important monument of the village is the Mother Church built in the 18th century, includes precious sacred objects coming from the Duke of Gela private collection.
