The house is located in the heart of Ragusa and rests against the hill where the medieval castle once stood. Thanks to this position we have a lovely vegetable garden on the third floor, occupied almost entirely by an ancient mulberry tree, a lemon and a pergola. We confess that this garden is one of the reasons that made us fall in love with this house. From our terrace, bordering the garden, you can enjoy the view of the dome of San Giorgio and Ragusa Superiore. You can also enjoy breakfast here, as well as an aperitivo, or perhaps read a book in perfect silence.
The bedrooms are located on the lower floors and are equipped with bathroom, air conditioning and TV.
About 100 meters away, we find the Cathedral of San Giorgio and its square, surrounded by Baroque buildings and immortalized forever by Italian cinema. Just beyond the square, you can admire the Palazzo Donnafugata, the Iblei Gardens and beautiful baroque churches. Excellent restaurants (including the 2 Michelin stars Duomo ) will satisfy all five senses.
