The village of Solarino rises on the hilly area of Val d’Anapo, part of the Iblei mountains.
Thanks to its location, Solarino offers a wonderful environment with vegetation such as olive and orange trees along with charming caves. The most important attraction of the village is Palazzo Requisenz, built in eighteenth century it is a unique example of Catalan art surviving in Sicily.
If you want to discover more about Solarino you can visit the Mother Church of San Paolo Apostolo built in 1887; the Ospedale Vasquez, built in the twenties with a charming colonial style; and two beautiful nature parks, Parco Robison-Beata Maria Crocifissa Curcio and Parco Urbano Maria Grazia Cutuli.
