The village of Solarino rises on the hilly area of Val d’Anapo, part of the Iblei mountains.
Thanks to its location, Solarino offers a wonderful environment with vegetation such as olive and orange trees along with charming caves. The most important attraction of the village is Palazzo Requisenz, built in eighteenth century it is a unique example of Catalan art surviving in Sicily.
If you want to discover more about Solarino you can visit the Mother Church of San Paolo Apostolo built in 1887; the Ospedale Vasquez, built in the twenties with a charming colonial style; and two beautiful nature parks, Parco Robison-Beata Maria Crocifissa Curcio and Parco Urbano Maria Grazia Cutuli.

Sagra della Salsiccia, it is a festival connected to the holy celebration of Maria Santissima Annunziata. Here it is possible to find massive bbq where you can taste local meat and genuine organic products.

Trofeo Pantalica, bike festival 

Notte Bianca di Solarino, it is the main event of the village where the old town centre offers lots of music concerts, performances and exhibitions and shops and markets are open until late in the night.

Nostressfest, it is a traditional ride with the famous handmade carts

Festa della Birra, beer festival

Sagra della Ricotta, Ricotta Festival, it is a popular festival that takes place during the Christmas holidays, to promote the most important local food of the village, the ricotta cheese, which is cooked following lots of ancient recipes.
