Villabate is a charming and ancient Greek village located in the province of Palermo.
Founded by the Phoenicians, over time Villabate was invaded by pirates who looted and destroyed the old town centre. The Chiaramonte family acquired the area in the 14th century and rebuilt the village including impressive buildings and holy places.

The Church of S.Agata built at the end of the 19th century with a Romantic style; The Theatre of Palme built in 1451 by the Fontana family.
