Today the Ancient Masseria is a four star hotel located in the heart of the Val di Noto near the Natural Reserve of Vendicari and the Baroque town of Noto.
The hotel offers you all the comforts of a 4 stars hotel, without forgetting its roots and its cultural identity, closely tied to the land that surrounds it and characterized by a warm welcome and a cozy atmosphere throughout your stay.
The hotel is built around a small white stone courtyard, where once the working life of the farm was held, now equipped with Arabic-style tables and cushions. In warm summer evenings, the courtyard becomes the ideal place for parties, food and wine evenings and entertainment.
All the rooms have different and simple furnishings, we do not use numbers: each room has a name inspired by particular Sicilian islands or sites. All the rooms have a mini bar with soft drinks, a safe deposit box, air conditioning / heating, a satellite television, a telephone, Wi-Fi and hair dryer. All the rooms have a bathroom with shower, except for two rooms with a bath for disabled people and 2 rooms with jet showers.
The Hotel has 34 rooms (20 Mediterranean rooms, 8 Oasis Room, 4 Romantic rooms, 2 Family Rooms) and the Dependance La Casa del Grano with the suite Demetra (for 5 persons) and the double room Kore.
In addition to the comfortable and elegant rooms, La Corte del Sole offers its guests a variety of outdoor spaces to enjoy every moment of the day, from sunrise to sunset.
Surrounded by a green area there is a small but lovely pool with a wonderful view looking at the nature reserve The pool is equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas from April till October.
The Hotel La Corte del Sole is close to the Vendicari Nature Reserve (more than 8 km of coastline), a park to visit, walking on paths, or simply laying at the sun on the pristine and not equipped beaches but public as the beach of Eloro, Calamosche, Cittadella.
The first beach of the Vendicari Reserve is the closest to La Corte del Sole and it is located next to the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Eloro. It’s possible to reach the next beach by walking along the path through the fields from La Corte del Sole, which will take you about 15-20 minutes.
If you choose to stay at La Corte del Sole you absolutely have to visit the Val di Noto. It is identified with the geographic area between the provinces of Catania, Siracusa and Ragusa and it represents the southern most tip of Sicily. Within this vast region every visitor can find something that suits his/her travel needs and tastes.
