Infiorata is a traditional festival which is the celebration of Spring
The Infiorata, a colourful festival unique in the world, takes place in the wonderful Baroque village of Noto during the celebration of Spring. Via Nicolaci, one of the main street of the downtown centre, is completely covered by a 122 meters carpet made with petal mosaics. The artists are selected after a creative contest inspired by local mythology, sacred art and traditions and the exhibition is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday.
