During the Christmas season the oldest and charming district of Sutera, Rabato, turns into a live Nativity. Its narrow streets are lit by torches and bonfires and the uninhabited houses are the setting for a very special Christmas celebration. The birth of Jesus relives in a charming atmosphere of warm lights and ancient sounds. Tourists and villagers take part in this evocative event which is enriched by the flavours of the typical traditional foods such as the Ciciri, Lu cunzatu, Maccu soup and the Guastedda.
