Vendicari Nature Reserve beach

Province of Syracuse

Vendicari Nature Reserve beach has a pristine and turquoise sea suitable for children and families.

The Vendicari Nature Reserve beach is placed in the southern part of its Nature Reserve. The most charming asset of this beach is the seaweed called Poseidon that is spread on the beach and in the first few meters of the sea bed, forming a barrier long 5 meters. Passing this barrier, the sea is pristine and turquoise, suitable for children and families where it is possibile to swim and play any kind of water sports. Moving toward the north, you can find an amazing rocky area that surrounds the boundaries of the reserve, which is the ideal destination for snorkelers and diving lovers.
