Alimena offers amazing cultural attractions such as its beautiful Mother Church.

Located in the Madonie Park groups, Alimena is considered an important village from which it’s easy to reach the main cities of the area. This tiny village offers amazing cultural attractions such as the Mother Church, dedicated to the Patron Saint of the village Maria Maddalena. It was built in 1731 by the Prince Vincenzo Del Bosco. The Church of Sant’Alfonso dei Liguori, considered the symbol of the village, was built in the 1600. The Church of Anime Sante built in 1629.
Other relevant churches are: Chiesa dell’ex Convento di Santa Maria di Gesù, Ex Collegio di Maria, Chiesa della Madonna del Carmelo, Chiesa di San Giuseppe, Chiesa del Calvario. 
Close to Alimena, located in the valley there is a source of sulphurous water called U’Strittu.
