Borgo Bonsignore beach

Province of Agrigento

Borgo Bonsignore allows you to enjoy a gorgeous view of stretching forests, farms, wheat fields, along with charming vineyards and orange groves.

Borgo Bonsignore is part of the Ribera district, it is considered an excellent well preserved example of a new rural village built in the 1930’s during the fascist regime. The location of Borgo Bonsignore allows you to enjoy a gorgeous view of stretching forests, farms, wheat fields, along with charming vineyards and orange groves.
There is a nature reserve called Foce del Fiume Platani where it’s possible to discover the prominent and wonderful Mediterranean scrub. The beach is characterised by a charming and fascinating stretch of sand. Every summer, locals set up surprising and awesome shows and dancing performances in the old town centre, as well as outside film screenings or theatre pieces where tourists can be involved in local habits and traditions. Therefore the Rigatonata is a special dish made to celebrate the protector of the village, San Pietro, during its traditional commemoration in the middle of August.
Borgo Bonsignore is located 2km from the main thoroughfare, so you can easily reach some of the best touristic area as Eraclea Minoa, Sciacca, Agrigento and Selinunte.
