Monte Pellegrino Nature Reserve includes a series of incredible caves.
The Monte Pellegrino Nature Reserve, extended about 1050 hectares, was created in 1996 and it includes the famous Mount Pellegrino and the Real Tenuta della Favorita. The mount, with its millennial caves, dominates Palermo, and thanks to its beautiful environment and belvedere, it enchanted writers and artist for centuries. The Greek historian, Polibio, mentioned it in lots of his masterpieces and the famous German writer Goethe, many centuries later, described it as “the most beautiful promontory in the world”.

Get on 107 towards Stadio, get off Stop: Dalla Chiesa and get on 812 towards Monte Pellegrino
