Montelepre is a tiny village rich in history and ancient cultural attractions.  

Montelepre is a medieval village founded by the King Federico II d’Aragona who donated the first settlement of Montelepre to a group of nuns from the College of Santa Caterina in Palermo. The most important monuments of the village are:
the Civic Museum which holds over two hundred archaeological findings discovered in the area; the Mother Church of Maria SS del Rosario built in the 17th century; the Church of Santa Rosalia; the Church of Sant’Antonio; the Church of San Giuseppe; the Church of Madonna del Carmine; the Church of Anime built in 1717; the Ventimiglia tower, built in 1433 to protect the village by the massive bandits invasions.
Close to the village it is possible to enjoy a wonderful natural environment discovering the Muletta Caves.
