The Botanical Garden was created to study the medical and agricultural species contributing to the development of the botanical science.
The Botanical Garden is a perfect place where you can stop and relax after a long day sightseeing Palermo. Currently part of the public University, these gardens are used for studies in the botanical field. Opened in 1795, these gardens still serve their initial purpose of study, to contribute to the development of the botanical science especially in medical and agricultural fields. Located a few blocks from the seafront here you will find lush plants with fascinating flowers.
