The Hyblean Archaeological Museum includes impressive collections of archaeological findings of Ragusa.
The Hyblean Archaeological Museum shows a relevant collections of the archaeology history of Ragusa dating back from the Neolithic period to the Greek one. The most important collections, hosted by the museum, are the potteries of the Neolithic period discovered in the small village of Stentinello, the charming ceramics of Castelluccio, coming from the Bronze age and many precious findings including fragments of blades, swords and daggers. The museum also displays reconstructions of two mosaics placed on the floor of the Byzantine Church of Pirrera, located in the territory of Santa Croce Camerina, and the marvellous mosaics of a fifth century BC Byzantine Basilica.
