On the journey through the Arab-Norman itinerary that has just been listed in the UNESCO World Heritage you will stumble upon this romantic stone bridge.  It was built in 1130 by the same person that constructed the Martonara church,  George of Antioch, King Roger’s famous Admiral. The top half of the Ponte dell’Ammiraglio is all that is still visible as the bottom part has sunk under the park where it is located.
